Sightyard steers the cabin outfitting of cruise newbuilds. Crews record status with one tap in the cabin. Yard, contractor and owner see the same picture, deck by deck.
The task
A large cruise ship carries more than 3,000 cabins. Each one passes through installation, checks and acceptance in a fixed sequence, fire zone by fire zone.
Yard, contractor and owner each keep their own lists. When the lists differ, the takt breaks: crews wait, inspections slip, punch items get lost between Excel files.
Frame it. Fix it. Finish it.
Decks, fire zones, cabin types and work packages come from the yard structure. Each work package carries its activities, its contractor and its planned dates. This is Advanced Work Packaging, applied to cabins.
The crew scans the QR code at the cabin door and sets the status with one tap. Defects go into the punch list with photo, component and responsible contractor. Everything works offline and syncs later.
Pre, First and Final inspection follow as gates. Sign-offs are recorded with name and time. A cabin is finished when every work package is accepted and no critical punch item is open.
Product
A rugged Android phone, installed as a web app. No app store, no password for the crew on shared devices. Large touch targets for gloves, readable in daylight, fully usable without network.
The management cockpit shows the whole ship as a raster, deck by deck and fire zone by fire zone. Colour modes for completion, schedule and flow. Click through from ship to deck to cabin.

Method
Sightyard applies Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) to cabin outfitting. AWP is documented by the Construction Industry Institute and COAA in IR 272-2 and is an established best practice for large capital projects.
From AWP we take the typed work package as the unit of delivery, the constraint-free package as the unit of execution, and status recorded at activity level. The cabin sequence is the path of construction.
Roadmap
The cabin module records what happened. The next layer works out what happens next. It builds a dependency graph across cabins and measures real velocity from the change log.
Every recommendation shows its reasoning. People decide, especially at sign-off.
